What are the functionalities, limitations, strengths and weaknesses of various pan-genome representations?
The aim was to characterize the differences between various pan-genome approaches.
- Select 3-5 benchmark data sets (public data)
- Apply the three pan-genome packages to each data set, explore the functionalities
- Report similarities and difference concerning the data structure, functionality, resource consumption, limitations of each approach. Successfully constructed pan-genomes (on public data) and final report were shared with VLPB members.
